Embassy Manila is offering the Foreign Service Officers Test (FSOT) on Saturday, September 29th, 2012 at the US Embassy – Seafront Compound Public Affairs Library, also known as the Thomas Jefferson Information Center (TJIC). The Seafront Compound is located next to the Cuneta Astrodome on Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City.
Test registration must be completed online. The last date for candidates to register for the test is Friday, September 21, 2012. For registration instructions, please refer to the Department of State web site: http://careers.state.gov/officer/selection-process#nogo.
When you arrive at Seafront Compound, you will be asked for identification in order to be given a badge. The badge must be visible at all times while on Seafront Compound. Please bring two forms of id, your passport and another government issued ID. Visitors to Seafront Compound must pass metal detector screenings and have their bags checked by x-ray machines. U.S. Department of State employees will escort you from the entrance to the test location. U.S. Embassy Manila, the U.S. Department of State, and the U.S. Government are not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal property in Seafront Compound.
There will be two test sessions available: beginning at 8:30 a.m. or beginning at 1:00 p.m. Only pre-registered participants will be admitted. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the test. Any questions please refer to: Michael Choi at ChoiMI@state.gov
