Kanopy Film Party

The American Corner Davao is pleased to announce that it will host its monthly Kanopy Film Party once again on April 7, 2025, at the American Corner venue of Ateneo de Davao University. This event will be facilitated by Ms. Celestil Bernas, an Atenean senior undergraduate student.
The film party will showcase a documentary about Joan Didion, who was a renowned American writer, journalist, and novelist known for her captivating and insightful writings on culture, politics, and personal experiences. Born on December 5, 1934, in Sacramento, California, Didion’s career spanned over five decades, during which she penned numerous iconic novels, essays, and screenplays. She is one of the important figures in American literature.
This event is free and open to all students and young professionals, whether they are Ateneans or non-Ateneans.
