Kanopy Film Party

We are delighted to announce that the American Corner Davao will host its first Kanopy Film Party for 2025 on January 23, 2025. Join us at the American Corner in the Weiman Building, Jacinto Campus of Ateneo de Davao University for a film commemorating Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
It is a 2024 American war drama film written and directed by Tyler Perry, on the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, an all-Black and all-female battalion, in World War II.
The film is based on the 2019 magazine article “Fighting a Two-Front War”, by Kevin M. Hymel, on the contributions of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, an all-Black and all-female battalion, in World War II.
This event is open and free to students, staff, and professionals outside and inside the Atenean campus.
