Kanopy Film Party

The American Corner Davao is delighted to announce that it will host its monthly Kanopy Film Party on July 8, 2025, at the American Corner venue of Ateneo de Davao University. This event will be facilitated by Mr. Jan Moises Tanola, an Atenean senior undergraduate student.
The film party will showcase a documentary entitled Join or Die (1706-1774). Leaving behind his Boston childhood, Benjamin Franklin reinvents himself in Philadelphia, where he builds a printing empire and a new life with his wife Deborah. Turning to science, Franklin gained worldwide fame from his lightning rod and experiments in electricity. After entering politics, he spends years in London trying to keep Britain and America together as his own family starts to come apart.
This event is free and open to all students and young professionals, whether they are Ateneans or non-Ateneans.
