Kanopy Film Party

The next Kanopy Film Party will be held on August 6, 2025, at the American Corner venue of Ateneo de Davao University.
This sequel to last month’s Kanopy celebrates the US Independence Day and is titled “An American (1775-1790).” It follows Benjamin Franklin as he returns to wartime Philadelphia, joins Congress, and aids in crafting the Declaration of Independence with Thomas Jefferson. In Paris, he secures French support for the American Revolution and negotiates peace with Britain, ultimately spending his final years in the new United States working on the Constitution and advocating for the abolition of slavery.
This event is free and open to all, for both Ateneans & non-Ateneans.
