United in Diversity Summit

August 30 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

[Attention! Since the Government moved the date of the holiday, there has been a change in the schedule for the United in Diversity Summit. Instead of August 23, the event will now be held on August 30, 2024. Be sure to check the updated application deadline and pubmat.]

Calling all emerging leaders from Davao City, Puerto Princesa, Baguio, Batac, and nationwide! 🇵🇭

In celebration of International Youth Day and Women’s Equality Day, we’re inviting you to the United in Diversity Summit—a space where you can connect, learn, and grow with fellow changemakers who are as passionate about global cultural exchange, inclusion, and equality as you are. The summit will occur on August 30, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This isn’t just another event. It’s a summit where you can:

– Dive into powerful stories from victim-survivors of gender-based violence and other forms of violence. Contribute to creating actionable recommendations and participate in the workshop.

– Engage in real conversations about our identities, cultures, and the roles we play in our communities with speakers from the USA, Spain, Germany, Nigeria, Japan, and the Philippines.

– Meet incredible U.S. Government alumni and global advocates who’ve been there, done that, and are ready to share their journeys with you.

Whether you’re in Davao City or joining us online, we want you to bring your whole self—your experiences, your ideas, your fabulousness—and be part of something that truly matters.

It will also be available online via Zoom, reaching youth across the nation.
